Offpublic exists to shrink your digital footprint, so this policy is short and blunt. We collect the minimum we need, we use it for exactly one purpose, and we never sell it.
One thing: finding your listings on data broker and people-search sites and getting them removed. Removals are executed with our removal-processing partner, which is contractually limited to the same purpose. We email you about your scan, your removals, and your membership.
We advertise on platforms like Facebook to reach people who need this service. To measure whether those ads work, our public marketing pages use the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, which share limited, hashed information (such as a hashed email address and the pages you visited) with Meta for ad measurement. Under California law this measurement counts as “sharing.” It applies only to the marketing site — never to your scan results, your identity details, or anything inside your member dashboard.
To opt out: turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser and we disable this sharing automatically — no forms, no asking. You can also email privacy@offpublic.comand we’ll honor it by hand.
Email us at privacy@offpublic.com and we will delete your account and associated data. It would be strange for a data-removal company to make deletion hard.
